Early Life and Musical Roots

Braiden Sunshine was born on April 15, 2000, in New London, Connecticut, and raised in the neighboring town of Lyme. His musical journey began at the tender age of five when he joined his local church choir. By nine, he was performing with the classic rock cover band Silver Hammer, showcasing his vocal talents alongside older musicians. This early exposure to live performances laid a solid foundation for his future in music. 

Rise to Fame on The Voice

In 2015, at just 15 years old, Braiden auditioned for Season 9 of NBC's The Voice. His rendition of "The Mountains Win Again" by Blues Traveler impressed coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, with Braiden ultimately choosing Team Gwen. Throughout the competition, he delivered memorable performances, including "Feeling Good" and "Radioactive," advancing to the semi-finals before his elimination. 

Post-The Voice Career and Musical Endeavors

Following his stint on The Voice, Braiden continued to pursue his passion for music.He released a self-titled EP in 2016, featuring tracks that blend pop, rock, and blues influences.His single "Heartbeat" gained popularity, further establishing his presence in the music industry.

Braiden has remained active in the live music scene, performing at various venues and festivals, particularly in his home state of Connecticut. His performances are known for their energy and his ability to connect with audiences of all ages.
